Terry's Poem
I can almost see it it’s a dream that I’ve been dreaming but there’s a voice inside me telling me I’ll never reach it.
With each step I take and each move I make I feel lost with no sense of direction and my faith is shaking.
But I’m going to keep on trying and I’m going to keep my head held high because I know that there’s always going be a mountain and I’m always going to want to make it move and I’m always going to have an uphill battle and someday I’m going to lose.
But this isn’t about how fast I get there and this isn’t about what’s waiting on the other side.. It’s the climb!!
With all the struggles that I’ve faced and all the chemo that I’ve taken I will admit that it has knocked me down but I’m not breaking
I know that these are the moments that I’m always going to remember most and I Just have to keep myself going
And I know I’ve got to be strong and with the support of my family and friends I know that I can keep pushing on.
